Darcie, from Marlo in far East Gippsland is the #1 ranked Biathlete in Australia and currently the only Australian representative on the IBU World Cup circuit. Darcie is currently ranked 6th in the Olympic Wild Card ranking at the end of the 2024/25 IBU season. Darcie is on target to represent Australia at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. (A bit about Wildcards; there are 12 Wild cards for the Milano Olympic which will be allocated to the top 12 athletes using IBU Q points who are the best ranked outside the top 20 Nations. Max of 2 per National Federation).
Darcie is currently training with Team Intersport in Lillehammer, Norway, which is a strong professional team. Darcie will compete for Team Intersport at season opening Norwegian events and at the Norwegian Championships in 2026. Through training with the professional Norwegian Team Intersport Darcie aspires to take the next step up into the Top 40 in the World.
