Phoenix is currently Biathlon Australia's #1 ranked male internationally. Phoenix is the only Aus male with IBU Q points below 150 which means he can start in Start group 1 and 2 on IBU Cup. Phoenix, who is now 19, has been a member of EGBC since he began the sport as a 12 year old.
Phoenix is currently training with the Holmenkollen Biathlon Team in Oslo. This is a huge honour to be included in this team. Phoenix will compete in Norwegion national races, IBU Cups, and is aiming to join Team EGBC compatriat Darcie Morton on World Cup in Trimester 2 of IBU season 2025/26 and at the Milano Olympics. Phoenix will need at least 2 excellent results early in the season to be in the position to be eligible for a World Cup and Olympic wild card for Milano Cortina.
